NATIONAL MUSEUM VIRTUAL EXHIBITIONS

Varaha Tech Labs designed and developed 10 interactive virtual exhibitions for National Museum, New Delhi to bring India’s rich cultural heritage to a wider audience. The exhibition deploys state of the art technologies like 3D scanning, webGL platform, virtual space navigation, innovative curation, and narration methodology. These 10 exhibitions include the first-ever SCO Online Exhibition on Shared Buddhist Heritage, launched by honorable Vice-President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, during the 19th Meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government (SCO CHG), held via video conference on 30th November 2020. This exhibition houses rare Buddhist exhibits from the Eight-member states (India, Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and China,) under the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, with a total of 352 objects (3D & 2D). One of the virtual exhibition has been created on the visualisation of the Ramayana in Indian Miniature Paintings. Another highlights the Gold ornaments from Takṣaśilā.
